Just wanted to comment about 99% of the time, no matter what I am doing on my storm, it is in landscape mode. I originally thought it would be more 50/50.

Do you guys split your time between portrait and landscape?

edit: now that I think about it, the only time I really use portrait is dialing numbers and talking on the phone

I only use portrait when I am checking email or making phone calls. I find landscape makes it easier to see and type for everything else.

Learn to use suretype, and it will swing the other way. suretype is at least 50% faster for me and less errors.

landscape for me all the time. Lately, I've been texting in portrait mode as I've found the suretype can be alot easier and faster sometimes, but usually I only use portrait while in phone calls. I just like the look of the screen and navigation seems easier in landscape.

Another here who uses it almost exclusively in landscape. I think the only times I don't are when using the phone and playing wordmole and brickbreaker.

Anything that requires long messages though means I immediately default to the landscape keyboard.

I think i prefer to read messages and do general stuff in Portrait, but texting i revert straight to landscape. Although any web pages that come up a bit wierd i may view that in landscape as well just coz some pages work better with the added width.

I use landscape for everything except phone. It feels a little better to hold in landscape. Well, I use it to text if I am busy and can only use one hand to text. But, I don't really like it. I'm better at typing in landscape.

Landscape exclusively unless I have no choice but portrait. I started using portrait with .90 (full qwerty), but had problems and went back to .86. Hopefully the next OS will be better, then I think I might use portrait a bit more.
