    Do I need this on my phone its 4.7 but it was never there untill I did an update and then an icon came along with it called certificate search. I wanna get rid of it can I ?

    And can someone explain what DOD Root Certificates is ?

    They are DOD certificates for accessing sites protected by DOD certificate authorities. If you don't ever visit .mil websites then you don't need them. These are available for your desktop browser too if you need them.

    Ok so I deleted the DOD Root Certificates app in my applications list and the icon for certificate search is still there how would I get rid of it ?

    Yeah did a reset, now the icon was hidden Im sure that shouldnt effect the phone deleting it right. And as for the other programs are they safe to delete ?

    you prolly wanna keep attachment service...thats how you look at attachments from emails and you dont need s/mime, havent used it ever (or installed it for that matter) its something security related but the phone is already ridic. secure without it and im pretty sure its an enterprise thing? so unless you are BES

    Here's a quick one you can uninstall all the languages from the application manager, if i uninatall english aswell as the rest what would happen? I'm taking a guess it would still have english somewhere in it's default "required" install and that this is only for thing like the spell check/dictionary?
