Compatibility mode is there to try and make it possible for older apps to work with the Storm's touch screen. It tries to make the Storm mimic the behavior of older BBs as much as possible. Turn it off, and it just lets the app run completely unmodified/molested.

it has nothing to do with the memory then correct ?
would it be best to turn it off for all my apps ?
