I used to have a storm , currently on droid, but today I ran across the storm 1 again on craiglist which the phone is 1 or 2 month old and to my surprise the screen click mechanism is like the storm 2. The click action is instant and no need to press down hard. Did Verizon change it?

Yes. They changed the technology behind the screen and called it a Storm2. That's the only major change they made.

I already knew that. I meant a 9530 with a 9550 screen tech. because it is the different press action compare to the 9530 that came out in 2008. Maybe I'm to use to the droid I forgot how a 9530 felt lol im holding both 9530 and 9550 and the press feels the same though

My first storm 1 broke and i got a free replacement S1 from verizon and the touch screen felt way better...I think they(Verizon/blackberry) just figured out how much to tighten the little screws behind the screen....feel the same as my friends S2

So what about the 2 different types of LCDs you could get over the net? I want some exposure over this issue.
