    Just bougth my BB Storm. Running XP Pro and Office 2007. Everytime I try to synch, the Desktop Manager (v4.7) starts the process but always keeps closing down before synch is complete. Any idea how to trouble shoot that?

    Join The Club Sometimes it takes me 8 or 9 tries before I can get a successful backup made. Does the desktop kind of flicker to a whitish color sometimes too before it just vanishes? I have posted this before and it seems its not all that common but its happening on all 3 of my laptops 2=Vista 1=XP happens on all of them. I have tried both 4.6 and the newer 4.7 versions both still do it.

    OK I Finally Figured It Out You must right click on the BB desktop insignia and open the program "as administrator" Then and only then will it work right. I'm not sure why it has to be opened this way. Its now working for me.
