Default Deleting Ringtones from my Storm...

My Storm originally had AIM on it but I deleted the app, however, the Buddy alerts are still in my Ringtones folder...how do I delete them?

Download BBFileScout. You should be able to delete locked files with it. Just go to the ringtones folder in 'system/samples/ringtones' and delete

also the bbThumbs.dat file in your ringtone folder is what holds the data that your phone uses to create that list. if the ringtones are deleted but your phone doesn't re-scan and overwrite that file, they will still show as there, even if they aren't. just delete that file and then power cycle will cause it to rescan.

i advise you follow vaca's steps then check to see if that fixes it, if not then you need to update the bbThumbs.dat file.
