    I believe it is built-in to the os and can not be removed..

    can't be done and there are alot of sites that need to recognize your device BB browser to function properly. so trust me you wouldn't want to.

    Even if you managed to delet4e, how would you open links in Emails. Opera would not be recognized. Even App world would fail.
