I "restored" back to a much older backup and was able to get the db size down to 1/3 of it's size (after relaoading/resetting everything). So, as we all knew, the db does not self-clean itself very well.

Does anybody know if the size can cause perfomance issues (would seem likely) and/or if there is anyway (other than starting from scratch to clean obsolete info out of it?
