My wife currently is out of contract and uses a flip phone with Verizon pay by the minute. Anybody know if we can continue that plan and get the storm adding the 30 data of course?

you can't, blackberry's have there own data plans which i believe the cheapest is somewhere in the ballpark range of 39.99 a month.
