I have a 9530 and am selling, and will not have my new Storm 2 before I ship. I need to back up all my data to be able to transfer it to my Storm 2, how do I go about doing this, as DM is asking for the new device when I do the transfer, and I do not have my new device. Does this info get saved somewhere so I can do this once I receive my Storm 2?

I want all my password keeper and all messages to transfer over to my Storm 2. I wasn't sure if I could create a back up for a Storm 1 and restore to a Storm 2.

yes you can do that thru the advanced backup/restore. I did the same a couple days ago

u can backup all the data via DM, it will save messages, contacts, call logs...however ur passwords i would suggest writing down because i haven't ever seen them transfer over. Once u get the s2 it will restore with all of your setting and things i outlined above.....
