I figured out creating a custom sound profile allows for me to have the phone vibrate and ring at the same time as well as allowing me to silent email notifications which doesn't work on the preset sound profiles and for some reason the answer icon works a lot better now, I don't have to click on it twice to answer a call which was getting very annoying especially for my wife since half of her calls never answered.
