it uses a micro usb instead of a mini usb... you can get an adapter for it instead of buying new stuff... so it is not the same as any other blackberry

you are prob right.. he could have bought a new one for less than $7 but my experience is those after market chinese pieces of **** break quickly so if he had an OEM charger it may have been worth it; that is if the adapter itself isn't after market and breaks after a few months.. lol
wait, does ne other blackberry at this point use micro? bc i know they used mini for quite a while, while micro does last through more mating cycles and has a variety of other advantages, one would think that if blackberry was going to micro they do it on all or at the very least most of their devices
if you're buying the storm, i'd think getting an OEM car charger would be reasonable. telesales offers a car charger and case for $30. ebay has OEM chargers for roughly $15
