So my Storm had an unfortunate run in with a wall and now the screen is cracked. Its still usable (kind of) but its nearly impossible to easily type anything and when I try and select items it jumps around the screen.

Since this is an unlocked phone I'm using on AT&T, theres obviously no warranty and I cant get any special pricing for a re-up on the contract.

My question is what do you guys think I should get to hold me over for the next 3 to 6 months? My options I've been mulling over are:

    Blackberry Curve 8520 - $289.99 (New)
    Nokia E71-2 - $200 (Used)
    Nokia E71-2 - $300 (New)
    Blackberry Bold - $300-$350 (Used)
    Blackberry Curve 8900 - $275-$350 (Used)
    Blackberry Store 9530 - $150 - $350 (Used)

Keep in mind this is for business, and I'm on this thing constantly...

Thoughts or suggestions would be great!!

i think if you were to buy a replacement screen it would cost less then getting a new phone. Unless you got sick of your storm. I got a nokia e71 and it was a great phone when i used it.

Honestly I never even considered buying a new screen because I didn't know how difficult the change out would be...

Does a DIY exist on how to swap out the screen?

If you decide to change the screen, here is where you can get it. They are easy to change from what I've heard.

9500/9530 - Cellular Nationwide Network - Cellular Accessories - 3G, Sony, Panasonic, LG,

So would I need the 014 screen or the 002/024 screen? Any differences between the two?

That in not sure. There are many people here that have done it before. Try doing a search to find out. They may have been taking the screen off and looking at the numbers on it to order the same one.
