I have a Storm and use Windows Vista. As far as I can tell, there is no way to view my contact info without either having the device or Microsoft Outlook.
Does this mean if my BB gets run over and I decide not to replace it, there is now way I can view/retrieve all my contact info???
Yep, that is why you have to backup your device. Or you could use Google sync to have all your contacts on the cloud so to speak. Or you can get a desktop pim.
Desktop Manager can sync to other PIMs than just Outlook. But it's designed for Outlook. You should make backups frequently. Backup files can be read with ABC Amber BlackBerry Convertor
