I have a noob question for ya...what is the advantage for "converting for optimization" when I use media manager to copy a video to my storm?? When I just copy, and when I convert I see no difference, and It just seems to take longer when I convert. Is this for specific files, and it asks for all, or does it actually do something to the file??

    Thanks

In therory optomizing for the storm should reduce the file size of the video, thus allowing you to store more video.

Depending on HOW you optimize and what program you use your mileage may vary

Aha...O.K. Well I was wondering if it did anything with viewability(is that a real word??), but I guess it doesn't effect that...No biggie...Thanks

It also converts the file to a format viewable on the phone.
