hi anyone that could help me with this would be much appreciated!!

ok so i lived in italy and i bought the Storm 9500 and now i live in the states and i want to covert it to the US 9530 version. i went to a verizon store and a vodafone (european company) and they both said i would have to get new software to replace it.. like a total wipe out... how can i do this and is this possible?

The 9500 doesn't have the dual band CDMA radio, so you can't use it with Verizon or other CDMA carriers.

I would think you could use it on GSM carriers, however.
