    not sure about saving to media card.. but i believe you are able to save contacts to your sim card

    The address book database is part of the OS. You can add, delete, or modify entries within it - but you cannot move it.

    You can't save your contacts to your media card... but you can do a back up on your pc and then take the backup and save it to your memory card. That way you will always have your most recent data with you. I have done this and it's saved me some hassle before.
