So I have a vx8300 (LG) and my storm arrives tomorrow. Can I transfer my numbers the same way at a VZW store? Can I use Backup Assistant on GetItNow? Or do I have to type all the names in my address book on my macbook pro and do it that way?
Any advice to make it as quick as possible. Thanks!
Do you have Bootcamp, Parallels or VMfusion installed on your Mac? If so, you can use the Desktop Manager that comes on the CD with the BB and use the "Switch from other Device" to transfer the data.
If not, I think Verizon can transfer the data for you. I'm no longer a VZW customer but they used to try and charge you for that service. However, if you get a nice rep they will usually do it for you free.
