Well I plugged my blackberry into my compute today to try and pull some videos off of it, and as soon as i launched my bb desktop manager it said i had a bunch of available updates. I just got done w/them and it is in fact 4.7.0.113 (Platform 4.0.0.114). So those that were worried about installing a leaked version of the firmware, you can get the official one now.

Sorry I posted wrong originally (4.0.0.114 should be 4.0.0.144 (thanks for catching that ))

Just checked for wireless upgrades via Options. No OTA upgrade released. I don't see it either on VZW site either.

I think the OP has desktop 4.7 on their PC and has .113 installed, it will detect .113 if installed. I will still show in the menu that it's an update. but in small print it should say installed(current)

And also yes this needs to be moved to the right section.

@ the OP the forum is setup in sections for each device. In the future you can post a thread in the specific device section.

Yep. Wonder how many more of these "breaking OS news" posts we'll see before Verizon finally give us an update? Tiresome.

They had to update something or patch something. I just updated last week, why would it prompt me to update again? I have the blackberry curve 8350i on the Nextel / Sprint network. It asked me to update once before, but that was about a month ago when I first bought the phone. I always check for updates when I hook the phone up to the PC. (I'm a little anal when it comes to that).

So you had .75, and you never downloaded a leaked beta O.S.
Then today you plugged your phone in, opened up DM. and it prompted you to the update? Is that correct??
