What IS an Event Log? And why do I want to clear it with an app like logmaid?

there is a better way of doing this click show keyboard type "/"/ it will bring up the event log click blackberry button options click one of the things like alarm then hide all types it should save you some memory there is no need for the memory log in my opinon

Why do you want to clear it?
Save valuable memory is it really important to you to be able to see what you have done in the past to me its not that why i advice you to do this

also when you first bring up the log hit bb button and clear log

THe log gets overwritten on a daily basis anyway. It doesn't take up as much room as people would have you believe.
