Charging/battery issues!

I am getting SO annoyed with my BBS!!! At first I thought it was a battery issue..but I switched batteries with my husbands storm (he just got a new phone) then I thought it was a charger issue..but I have four blackberry charges and it happens with all of htem. it will NOT stay charging...one minute the little lightning bolt is there, then its not..sometimes takes hours to charge fully..then seems to lose charge very quickly unlike before.

I have 2 months left on our contract...really dont want to have to pay for a new phone (its out of warranty!!!!)

Im traveling next week, and raelly cannot have this damn problem.

any ideas?

The problem (in order of likelihood) is in 1) the battery; 2) the Charger; 3) the phone's internal charging circuitry. You've conclusively eliminated 1) and 2). Are you charging with a cradle, or with the BlackBerry plugged directly in the wall charger? If a cradle, try a direct connection. If that doesn't help, the problem is in your phone. It may not be worth repairing. Since your contract is so close to up, the store might give you a discount on a new device. It's worth asking.

Its most likely the usb jack in your phone. Mine went...I bought another battery and a stand alone charger. Now I just change between the two batteries. Chargers are cheap..pick one up and try charging the battery outside the phone.
