Are there any apps out yet that can change the color of the LED. For example instead of having a red light blink when we get a message we have a blue light blink?

Yes, from what ive read there are a couple apps that let you change it and the storm actually has 3 leds (no proof just readings) that are red, blue, yellow so you can make almost any color.

With these apps you can assign colors to any things on the phone. BB messages, SMS, MMS, emails, calls, profiles... etc....

Also, it would be nice if you or anyone else gets this app to post here if it is worth it and works flawlessly.... it is something that sounds good just want to hear some inside opinion first.

Well...I have ColorLight and so far, not worth the $7. It changes the color of the LED, oh yes, but it has very limited options, and makes the LED light up any time the screen is activated, which is annoying. Unless there's something I'm missing, I'm not liking it very much.

I bought the Colorlight also. A waste of money. It was very annoying because it continued to blink. I loved being able to have a different color - I just don't want it blinking all the time regardless of what is happening. Maybe they will do an update and improve it.

Why bother posting an a**hole response like this? It is far more annoying that you responded like that than it might be that this person could have possibly posted prior to searching. Lighten up..

I use BBalerts and it works great for me, you can customize to any color you want, i have purple, teal, blue and pink...make sure though, if anyone does buy this app, to save the email reciept because it has the register number...you will need to that number to re-register after every OS upgrade...I found this app in the app thread for the 9350

Red light-youve got a message (sms, mms, email, update, calender etc.). Yellow light-low battery. Green light-you are in a coverage area (area with signal) so basically everywhere. Blue light-you are doin a bluetooth transfer (either receiving or sending)

I found an app which is really good and enables you to changw different light colours for contacts and for when you have incoming or missed calls.....everything basically!

Its called bebuzz.....just search for it in bb app world and it comes up. You can get the free version for minor things or buy the full version to upgrade but personally the free version is ggood enough! Give it a go!

    Hope this helped x

Berry Buzz is the best I have seen for LED colors. I set one email to red, SMS to White, and my second email to Blue. The blinking LED tells me what message arrived. Great - I recommend it.
