    i pulled the file outta the java folder in my OS, reinstalled it

    still there

    then i manually deleted the samples folder

    still there

    wtf how do i get rid of it?

    get BBFileScout. it's a free app.

    it lets you browse bb file system. including deleting all the sample media on device.
