Is it possible to stop my Storm from checking email? I don't need it to receive email when I'm working at my computer and would like an easy way to shut it off. Possible to do without disabling data?

I do. Sometimes my BB beats my Outlook to the message though.

My BB *always* beats my DT computer (Outlook). It would be nice to temporarily disable email checking...

I believe this is only for those that use BES. I have not found a way to stop it from showing up on BIS.

I don't even use BIS (I don't think I do anyway). I just put my POP3 settings into my BB.

Just change your profile to phone calls only when you are at your desk. That will temp stop emails. You just need to remember to return it back to normal when you leave the office.
