Not really sure if I ever could, but I updated my Storm with the latest release from Verizon and noticed a few changes to the ringtones, so I attempted to go in and change them, but it would not allow me to change anything.. When I hit Set Ring Tone/Alerts I get nothing and when I hit add new custom profile I get nothing as well.. Any ideas out there would be appreciated. Thanks

    that is a weird problem.

back up your device, and then options>security>general options>bb button>wipe handheld

then with DM go to backup/restore>advanced and only restore contacts, calendar and BBM. your ringtones should be on your memory card already. save them to a folder on your PC if your worried, but shouldn't be a reason to be.

then you can start from scratch. sounds like something in your ringtones/profiles got fubar'd

Did you perhaps shrink the OS before you installed.
If you did and got rid of the stock ringtones, it will lock the profile

Yes, add the 9500 ringtone .cod back into the java folder of your OS and rerun apploader.
