    2. Dock

    It has been discuss, but I have have yet to see a definitive answer.

    I don't think anyone knows for sure about the dock.

    I've been curious as to whether it will be a class 2 card or not. Probably will be to cut costs.

    SD cards have SD Speed Class Ratings defined by the SD Association. The SD Speed Class Ratings specify the following minimum write speeds based on "the best fragmented state where no memory unit is occupied"

    Class 2: 2 MB/s
    Class 4: 4 MB/s
    Class 6: 6 MB/s

    And as you guessed, the faster, the better !

    Damn it! That sucks! Well, I guess RIM / VZW is looking at it as another thing they can make $50+ bucks on! Especially if the phone charges through it, the way the pictures show, that'd be awesome! I've had a few 8830s break the charging port or become very lose because of taking the charging cable in and out.

    Like I've said before, that's the one thing that I do like about the Curve is that it has the charging points on the back.

    I think I read too in one of those posts about the developer's conference that someone said "optional dock" or something to that effect.
