If I purchase a Bell Mobility locked 9530, and then unlock it, can I put in a Rogers SIM card and will everything work fine?

Thanks for your help... I have only ever had GSM/SIM card experience and am not sure if the 9530 is a CDMA phone with no SIM card.

Yes, you can unlock a 9530 and run it on North American GSM networks. Here's the BlackBerry 101 Lecture on the topic: BlackBerry 101: How To Effectively Run Your Unlocked Storm (all features enabled) on North American GSM Carriers | CrackBerry.com

Why not just source a Vodafone 9500 (Storm1) or 9520 (Storm2) that is fully GSM? Just less to mess with.

The best part about a CDMA/GSM is that it is DUAL Network Capable ...
