Was at a friends gig last night, decided I would give the camera and video functions a whirl and see what happens. Camera did ok, a little laggy but seemed to work fine. The video function on the other hand, what a nightmare. 90% of the time it would record for a minute or so then the phone would lockup and I would have to pull the battery to resolve the issue.

Is this normal or am I doing something weird?

Also is there a way to browse the phone, with DM or other program, and just pull the photos and videos off my storm? I can see the pictures on the phone itself, but would like to pull them off and view on my PC instead of the phone.

you're not the only one with the video camera freezing the phone up. I've been having problems with my internet so i decided i would record my modem lights going into a frenzing to show the technician when they got here and my storm froze at around a minute

agreed, nightmare, love the rest of the phone but this is a real pain
for me it seemed to work fine before the upgrade
