So I have my calendar setup, and if I have 4 appts that all happen to end at 7:00pm I get 4 empty slots for 7:00, which is annoying and takes up 1/2 my screen space.

Is there anyway to either NOT show end times, or to consolidate so that I only have 1 slot for each hour display?

Not in the Day view. In agenda view you can choose to not show free time and end time. You will find this under the Options on the menu.
