Alright, so I've been trying everything I can possibly think of to get the Browser to show up on my 9530.

The back-story on the phone is that I rescued it (in mint condition, mind you) from a phone recycling bin. It came with an 8gb micro sd card that the previous owner left in it.

It apparently was flashed to work with Cricket, even though it showed up as Verizon wireless. My boyfriend flashed it back to verizon, and I was able to activate it however, the browser icon doesn't show up and says that the sevice books are missing.

I'm not able to set up the blackberry email account through the email setup because the email setup doesn't show up. I even used the service books from my mom's blackberry curve, which has full browser function, but it still won't show the browser icon on mine.

It connects to the app world, which I downloaded and installed on the phone separately. It downloaded apps, but Opera Mini won't connect to the network.

The only time I've ever gotten the browser to show up was when I downloaded someone else's service books off of either here or another BB forum. However, I still couldn't connect to the network.

Every tutorial I've seen so far on getting the browser or service books hasn't worked for me or I can't use any of the methods. I'm kind of desperate here, because this is the only phone I have and I really just want the phone to work like it's supposed to.
