My blackberry storm is broken. if i want another one do i have to pay 600$ for one? or do i have another option? refurbished items? do i have a chance to get a replacement from telus? (ya right heh)
iam also pondering on getting a phone off of ebay, will any CDMA phone work on the telus network?
you may be able to buy a refurb. for less, im not sure about that.
If you buy a storm off ebay you must buy one that is Telus branded. Telus will not allow any other phones on their system, even if it is a CDMA. Also, if you happen to buy one that is stolen or has a delinquent account attached to it you will not be able to activate it either. You have to call Telus with the ESN number to check its status. If the status is 'stolen', they will not activate it for you under any circumstances as far as I know.
