Default Bricked storm?extrange behavior when usb plugged

I have a strange problem with my storm. It is in this state for 1 year now, and i am trying to get it back to life.
- red light wont turn on
- phone is apparently dead
- when i plug the usb to the pc, the sound of an usb device connected is heard every 5 -20 seconds.
- i have tried bbsak, jlc and apploader
- bbsak says "No device detected, Push OK to continue"
- jlc wipe appears to work but i cant get confirmation that it does.
- app loader used to say USB-PIN:UNKNOWN but now after using jlc to wipe it it shows USB-PIN: 305D0EF7 but after i push next, it shows the "unable to connect to the device" window.

i am quite confused, since it shows some life, but i cant turn it on or install an OS to the phone.
Please help!

PD. i dont have warranty since i bought it in the US but live outside the country

HELP!

Buy a new battery. Most likely cause, though no guarantee.

Soinds like the OS is a wreck. You could wipe it fukky without a battery, and start an OS install, but you'd need one to finish.

The screen is dead? You can check the Power Management settings for the USB hubs, run CCleaner on your PC, reboot the PC and see if that helps the connection.

I also suspect it is the battery, but if not then maybe some of the tips in the following link will help.

yeah, i followed those steps many times, thats why i used the apploader. I tried using the phone with the charger and no luck, that takes battery sadly out of discussion.

Did you use the USB or a wall charger? I am not sure the phone will work if plugged into the USB and the battery is malfunctioning. How long have you let it charge?

You've gotten help. The battery is most likely the main issue, and until you successfully get it wiped to 507, there's basically no chance of recovery.
