Where is your country? More than likely you'll have to call verizon and activate the sim to work. This is assuming you're from across the pond.

My country is Ukraine. I'm interesting only in one. Consultant in USA said that this phone only for USA use, because in this phone no slot for sim card.
Is it true?
But if in this phone has slot for sim card, i can unlock this phone for my country for my operator.
Everythyng I need to know Does the BlackBerry Storm 9530 (Verizon Wireless) phone have a SIM card slot?

The phone does have a sim card slot but you would still have to have the phone unlocked to have it work on a different carrier.

If the Ukraine uses GSM you may be better off with an all GSM based Storm 9500 from Vodaphone or one of the Canadian carriers instead of the CDMA/GSM combo 9530 from Verizon.
