hi new to this site purchased blackberry storm of ebay about a week ago
when it came i inserted vodafone sim as i live in the uk and came up phone is blocked contacted seller and he is no longer on ebay so at the moment i am going through the claim thing through paypal
is there anyway to get the phone unblocked by software or codes or is the phone no good now
any help much appreciated
as im down quite a bit of money now
If its been blocked by the mechanism used disable lost or stolen phones you're petty screwed. You may have purchased a European storm as they are the same model but won't work in which car it may only be network blocked and you might be able to resolve that, though I'm not sure how.
Does it give any more info?
Either way, continue with the paypal claim in my opinion. It looks suspicious if he has vanished from ebay.
Why did you buy it off ebay to use on Vodafone anyway?
