    im at home. it has 4 bars, and it keeps switching between EV and 1XEV but it wont get online and it wont send messages. It's been doing it about 30 minutes.
    any help?

    pull your battery out while it is still on. It will force the network to reconnect to the phone and refresh the profile.

    Or you could just reset your network connection. Much faster than a battery pull. But then again battery pulls fix everything.

    Also, make sure the device is not set to "Global". Go to Manage Connections -> Mobile Network options -> Network Technology. Set to 1XEV. Only change this if you are roaming outside the US in a country that has or requires GSM.

    ive done all this, and still nothing

    Its been doing it for about 3 hours now.

    But now I can get online and send picture messages but I can't text or call anyone.
