Blackberry 9530: Reboot while viewing pics!!

Hi,
I got a new BB 9530. So kinda nooby with the blackberry OS.
Anyways the problem is my phone reboots while watching pics from gallery. To solve the problem i updated the OS from here: lyricidical hybrid os (latest). Damn, cant post links!


The problem with reboot was solved after updating the OS. However, sometimes when i view MANY pics from the sd card it shows weird glitches so its really annoying sometimes and it hangs. I have to do a battery pull to fix it!

Any solution or a better OS??

Hi,

My storm did this once and it freaked me out because it was the only time my storm had crashed and rebooted.

It turns out one of the pics I was trying to view was in the wrong format: either slightly different, named wrong (gif or something labeled as a jpeg) or was in a bad resolution for the phone to display.

Once I deleted the folder of pics, it was fine.

Your best bet is to find a stable OS and reflash it with a clean slate via these instructions:
