So the "Your device had a problem connecting to the server." I finished the update about an hour ago and I cannot resend my service books to my Storm. I keep getting the above message. Is this message normal?

This is what I get for not checking CrackBerry all day. I just realized I didn't get any email all afternoon, and checked and had some that I would have liked to respond to right away. Pshhh. Of course then they came through.

Down for me here in Canada on Bell

Just got the internet working 1 min ago seems fast...

Edit: Getting e-mails looks like the network is doing something Data arrows are going off and then dropped to 1X then back to EV a few times

If this is a sign of what a mass OTA update can do to RIM's core network... Not lookin so hot for the infrastructure these devices depend upon. Hopefully the two issues are unrelated, but....

I'm down too, four hours after installing .148. It was working great, then I tried to browse the web 30 minutes ago, and no go. Encountered an error trying to get into e-mail setup to re-send the service books, and finally got the books sent, but still no web access. Coupla QuickPulls were no help.

At that point I figured, a phone doesn't just decide on its own to go haywire, so I thought I'd get on Crackberry and see if there's an outage. And guess what? There's an outage.

It's times like this I wish my Storm had WiFi. Not intending to open a can of worms or start a flame war... but yep. That's all I have to say about that.

Yeah Mr. Bear....it does seem that there's an outage. I didn't even do the upgrade, so I wasn't worried about having messed up my phone or anything like that. But annoyed after attempting to re-send service books, etc. and also doing 3-4 battery pulls to no avail. So frustrating. I hate when BIS is down.

I can surf the web just fine using Opera. Google Sync is giving me an error that states: Login failed due to network problems, please check your settings.

Saw that. I've already been without e-mail for more than 2 hours. Nothing is "filtering through" yet and I still have no Internet access on the BB, either.

Emails are not pushing. Haven't gotten an email since about 4:30pm EST. I can see them fine on Gmail (laptop).

It should be fixed by tonight BIS being down affect an extremely large amount of people and I can't see this being an issue for more then 2 hours it's probably fixed now and still slow because it's backlogged from all the undelivered messages

    Edit

Looks like patches confirms my opinion.

Same here. Getting things in Gmail (on ThinkPad) but nothing pushing to Storm and also no Internet access. So lame.
