I hear .132 is good. Or one of the hybrids. Like that lyric guy's. I'm still on .75, though. But do a search next time. K?

Depends, 141 isn't bad, depends on the device, 132 I hated, 109 I loved, just try one out, it's not really a big deal to wipe and downgrade...just my humble opinion..

Bare in mind, the hybrids do NOT work well on BES, atleast in my experience, they're missing certain parts that interact with the calendar, and the system, whatever file is replaced it doesn't work well..atleast for me..

I'm on .141 and I like it. A ton better than .75. In order to upgrade to .141/5.0 hybrid from Lyrical you need to upgrade to .132 anyhow. I suggest you upgrade to .132 and see if you like that. If you do like it then keep it, I went for the .141 cause I wanted to see the latest that RIM was coming up with. I rebooted with 45 mb of space. Had to reload many of my lost apps but when I got them back I was opening up to about 35mb each reload. My big issue was the calendar sync but I eventually got that working.

All I can tell you is the camera is 500% better than .75. The black bar on the bottom of the screen is now opaque so you know what exactly you are taking a picture of, instead of guessing what is behind the bar. Also the picture gets taken a ton quicker, like less than 1 (maybe 2) seconds.

I'f your on a mac then you NEED to go to a windows pc, I bricked my phone trying to run a Virtual machine on my mac to do the upgrade.

You'll love the upgrade, just back up your apps.

Lyricydals 141/5...up from 132 and 75...hold memory at near 50 most days with great speed all around. Thinking about wiping and reinstalling though because I think I doubled system software...shows double listing of everything. Unless there's an easier way?

OK, I am a n00b for sure, but the only information I really need to understand is...can I downgrade back to .75 if I go down this road to .141 or a hybrid? I was really looking for that update but it seems like it will never come!

I'm a noob to the storm, but not Blackberries. Yes you can downgrade. I am on Lyricydals Hybrid.

Ratboy is correct. But just remember to back up your original OS to do so.

I've run most of them and Lyricidal's .141/5.0 is by far and away the best. It's smooth, fast, stable and everything works. It's a world of difference from running .75. It's also very easy to install. You start by upgrading to .132, then download and run his 5.0Hybrid.exe installer for the 9530 (http://forums.crackberry.com/f132/95...d-beta-204517/). Piece of cake.
