Berry Button Stuck / Won't Work

Hello!

I'm a bit frustrated. I dropped my BB this morning and was given a Verizon Storm 9530. I got the unlocking code (I have TMobile) and when I get to the SIM card menu, I can't type anything in, because my Berry key is either stuck or just not working.

If I could fix my other BB (TMobile 8520) that would be great too! It just reads "Insert SIM card" at the top of the screen. I have taken out the battery and SIM card and it still won't recognize it when I turn it on again.

I am lost without my BB
