does anyone know how to get rid of that ugly bell logo that is on my splash screen when it boots up or powers off? I've searched for the "vendor.xml" file on my hard drive and nada! anyone care to help?

Yep, you buy yourself the Flash ROM programmer for god knows how much and remove the logo. Seems like a good deal to me.
