I just want to see if anyone pays less than $90/mo for the storm? Was anyone able to haggle at all?

Right now I'm eligible for my NE2 and it makes the Storm only $49.95(or $49.99, don't remember/doesn't really matter). Minus the suspect quality of the OS so far, I love the storm. It's far and away my favorite phone out right now. $50 for an incredible phone is just hard to beat.

However, Verizon is just breaking my balls with their pricing. I know this is now the 2nd post I've made about their pricing, but I just want to check before I end my contract this month with them. I called them up about my NE2 and my bill was going to be $161/mo for 4 phones, unlimited texting on all of them and then the BB data plan. Simply too much. I told the CS rep that I thought this price was a little insane ($2,000 a year for 4 phones) and she said she couldn't do anything. Not only is $161/mo incredibly high, that's AFTER getting 20% off through my work. I would have left Verizon a long time ago without that perk. Essentially I'd be paying $201/mo - 20% discount. I feel like I should be paying at most $150/mo - 20% discount.

I spoke to a CS rep at t-mobile and I can get a G1 for about $65/mo with all the needed stuff and the basic plan. I don't really want to go to T-mobile for the G1, but it's my second best alternative.

Uh, yeah, I have a corp. discount and I pay $150/month for two BB's (1 Storm and 1 Curve). I'd say your monthly bill isn't that bad at all... especially considering the quality of VZW's coverage.

I don't get it... you said $150 would be ok but paying $161 was too much? That is not much of a difference. For 4 phones with data that is really cheap... it's only $40.25 per phone with data? I pay $30 for data alone!

I sell cars. I hate it when people are getting a great deal and don't get it. There is nothing ANYONE can say or do to make it right in YOUR mind. That is some thing YOU have to do.

You sir are getting a great deal. Please understand that. If you think its to high then don't get it. Quit wasting the poor CS's time by busting their balls over a couple bucks a month.

My faves is stupid. Way to go. You got a crappy plan with no minutes and no data for $50. Have you even compared your plan to other carriers? It proportional to other's plans. You just have less minutes.

I pay $250/mo pre-tax with 4 phones, but that includes unlimited text/picture/video messaging.

    $100 for 1400 shared minutes + free nights/weekends
$120 for 4 unlimited data plans (BIS)
$30 for for unlimited text/picture/video messaging

So that's roughly $62.5, pre-tax, per person. With no work discounts or anything.

Don't believe these guys saying $160 for 4 phones is a good deal...you're smart and know you're getting ripped off...Verizon does it better than anyone else...

I'd switch to another carrier, if not just don't get the data plan and go non-BB...sorry =(

The message has to get through eventually...

I'd say $40 a phone isn't a bad deal. Carrier's prices aren't getting any cheaper as the years go on, another thing to add into the cost of living.
