Hi all,

I am having trouble completing the software update on my BB Storm. I haev downloaded several different versions the latest being:
9500_omadrmEastAsia_PBr4.7.0_rel230_PL4.0.0.205_A4 .7.0.167_Hutchison

When I try to install this software the installation gets to the point of installatoin advising me that the installation will take seversal minutes, but does not go past that...

I am plugged in via USB, and the device isbeing recognised.

I have a BB Storm originally purchased in NZ vodaphone. I am currently in australia and am using it successfully on the Telstra network.

The current OS version on the device is as follows:
v4.7.0.78 platform 4.0.0.98

Any advice as to what I am doing wrong???

Looks like you trying to install a 9500 OS onto your 9530, which won't work

what dmetro said... it appears your loading 9500 OS onto a 9530 device

Are you loading the correct Os on your storm.
