I'm really sorry for the extremely noobish question. I've never really taken the time to download and try BB Messenger because i don't really understand what it does. Could someone explain to me it's purpose? I was under the impression that it's only for use between BB users, but i dont know if that's true...
That WAS the case until the newer 5.0 builds of BBM. Now regular contacts can be added so you can SMS through the app. That would have been a nice feature prior to threaded text with the 5.0 builds but pretty redundant now. Although you can go beyond the 160 character limit using bbm. All I can say is play with it and if it does not benefit you than axe it.
