Default Battery running out while phone is off

I dont really know what is going on, I have my phone setup to auto shut off and turn on at a specific time, but lately, it has happened twice, that when the phone is about to turn off by itself, the battery is half way and then next morninig it doesnt even come on until i plug it in and charge it.
Not sure if there are any apps running on the background but you would think if the phone shuts off they should stop using the battery.
Has anybody had this problem before???

Charger. But the problem is not when I plug it in to charge it after the battery is dead, the problem is why the battery is dying when the phone is off.

If that is the case it could be that you have charger/battery or even phone issue.

Good way to check to see if it is a phone or battery issues is to charge your phone using your pc. If it that works then you have faulty charger.

I can charge my phone with both the PC and the charger. The battery actually lasts long since i dont use voice that much (Roqming all the time) but sometimes the phone bat is 50% when it goes off at midnight and then it would not come on in the morning and i have to plug it in to get it back up. The battery goes completely out while the phone is off, weird...

I think you have quirky battery. Or

You said that your storm is roaming all the time. That is a battery killer, because your storm is always looking for a signal.

I think is the batter, i am just in denial, the phone has no more than three weeks of use.

Dont think is the roaming since the phone is always locked up on EDGE, and never shows searching for signal, so it should not make a difference.

I will try a new batt if i can find one down here.

Thanks for your tips
