Hey guys, i've upgrade to the .90 software on my storm. i've run into a couple problems, but overall since i know what these issues are i've learned to live with them. But one issue is the back lighting not turning off, i've searched the forums and tried all the resolutions but it seems to keep coming back. The only temp fix that works for me is doing a battery pull. unfortunately i have to do this a couple times a week, so i'm wondering.

Will i will experience any long term hardware problems by doing this? i could care less if i blow up the OS cause i can "hopefully" just reload it, but hardware and dealing with verizon is not something i want to do.

Use Soft reset/Quick pull to do "software" battery pulls.

Many users do them daily to keep everything running smoothly.

I'm down to 3-4 week (LOL)

Actual pulls will, if nothing else, wear out your back panel.
