I am a pretty heavy user - at least when i am traveling. My 8830 used to make an entire day on a charge. Today in Ottawa Ontario - i got a low battery warning at 2:00PM after only mild use. Lucky for me i had purchased a spare battery at Verizon and kept it with me. I dont always have a chance to plug in and did not have my car charger with me.
Have others noticed this phone is a bit of a battery hog... Even on standby.
I am at .75 - really dont think that would have much effect on battery life - Key contributors to battery drain are running the radio and second the screen probably sucks a good deal of juice.
