Battery drain fast when talking

I have a storm 9530 and it is 2.5 yrs old.
everything was fine but since two weeks ago, my battery drains very fast when i talk (phone call) . i only get around 30-45 minutes then it goes completely discharged.

for other tasks like browsing etc, the battery still responds reasonable.

is the issue from my battery or something else? this just happened in few days and i am getting 30-45 minutes now as oppose to 2-3 hours before.

can battery be broken like this or it should lose the capacity gradually?
Also i should mention it charges very fast too like in 30 minutes it goes from dead to fully charged...

please help

2.5 years old? Time for a battery.

I agree. I am starting to see a faster battery drain on my "original Storm" also (2yrs 8months), but mine is still adequate until I replace the phone in the next month.

Hopefully it can hold it till next month and i get new 9860 from Bell.
