So I've read that there will be multiple options available for the battery covers, I was wondering if all 3 different colored batter covers will be in the original storm packaging? or if they are purchases separately?

Probably not in the original box. They will most likely be options... just like the Bold ones are. It'll come with the darker one you see in all the pics.
