Can anyone tell me if this is normal? I used to have a curve 8310, and I would plug it into my usb to charge the battery and it would be charged in about 30 to 60 minutes.

Now that I have a strom, I plug it into my usb and it took about 4 or 5 hours to charge the battery completely.

Is this normal?

Why does it take so long on the storm?

Would it charge quicker on the AC charger?

Please let me know your thoughts.

The Storm does seem to take longer to charge than other cell phones I have owned. It is a fact it will charge faster with the A/C charger. Something about a CPU restricts the volts it can pass through the USB. I use my A/C charger and have never had a problem.

Install the usb drivers, this will speed up charge time.
