I've searched around and I'm still not too sure of a cure for my issue... I've put several avi files on my storm and when I play them back, the video is VERY choppy...but the audio seems to be pretty much normal. I noticed people suggesting Mobiolax, but I'm not too sure if this is the best option...it would seem as though it is a simple fix....

Hmmm...and after further investigation Mobiola does the exact same crap...almost worse lag :-/

Are you positive its not the video itself? Mine runs avi like a champ, but sometimes they can get choppy in the conversion process.

Yes....I'm actually watching the same AVIs on my laptop right now...running just fine...

what os you running? might be due for an upgrade. watching vids is smooth sailin on my device on .230

.230 :-/....rebooted a couple times since then and still crap playback....
